Module 3: Cues and Cue Control
Absolutely necessary for some behaviours, very fun for others: Behaviour executed promptly and exact on cue!
With module 2 dealing about how to get behaviour, module II turns to the „when“. This we call „cue control“, meaning a behaviour is shown promptly, with a correct pass rate, the required speed and accuracy as soon as it gets cued. And ONLY then, that is. Here, true training skills are revealed. Besides, it is far more fun to have the most impressive Spanish Walk never be executed unless cued. No need to worry, though: in this seminar, much less important behaviours will be started with to look at the features of this topic in practical experience. For it is true for this lecture series, too: You are the one who is here to learn something new. Not the horse ;).
The theoretics units will highlight why which approach makes sense and what role behavioural economics play in this context. The topic of „Extinction“ can be experienced both theoretically and in practice, as well as replacing an old cue with a new cue.
